About Us

Who We Are

Valley Bible Fellowship Visalia is a very simple, fundamental church that believes in teaching the Word of God in a spiritual authority, with a balanced perspective. We believe that sound doctrine is a real need in the body of Christ today.

One of our foremost goals as a corporate body is to provide a comfortable atmosphere in which you can grow in the knowledge of the Lord and meet other Christians with whom you can identify.

We believe and identify with the practices, lifestyle, and the doctrines of the early church. We hope, pray and believe that as the early members of the church touched their world for Jesus Christ, so can we.

Pastor Ron Vietti

Ron Vietti pioneered Valley Bible Fellowship in Bakersfield with ten teenagers back in 1974. The Church has grown to over 10,000 members and has recently been named the third fastest growing church in America by “Outreach Magazine.” VBF Visalia was started in May 2008, and moved in September 2009 to a larger venue to accomodate future growth.

In January of 1997, Ron was diagnosed with leukemia and was given three to five years life expectancy. Through a series of miracles, the leukemia vanished from his body. Even though he technically is still diagnosed with Leukemia, doctors have not been able to detect it in his body since 1998.

In 2005, Ron made national headlines because of the role he played in the conversion of former Korn lead guitarist, Brian “Head” Welch, to Christianity. After Brian’s conversion, Ron spent several months with him, including a trip to Israel where Brian got baptized, teaching him about the Bible and how to live his new life in Christ.

Ron has authored two books. The first book describes his personal experiences going through the diagnosis and treatment of his leukemia. It is called “Conspiracy Of Silence”. The second book, released in 2007, is a book that speaks about the need for an overhaul of American Christianity. The book is called “Polyester People.”

In addition to the books, Ron has a nationally syndicated radio program called “The Simple Life Radio Program.” It is aired in over 450 cities nationwide.
